Phoenix is such a handsome rooster! But surely that chair gets soaked in the rain. How do you prevent mildew and rot?
It is old and already broken down. I keep a cover and a pet bed on it. It drys in a hurry. He was raised in the house, so instead of tearing the chair apart I gave it to him.
Also he goes under the house at night when it is cold, and there are chairs and porch swings and such stored under there..he seems to really enjoy himself...he is so fun to watch. Although roosters can be very aggressive this one is handle-able if I respect his needs not to see any grocery or trash bags.
