Qualifying for Medicaid?

I'm married and just found out I'm pregnant. Me and my husband work at Subway and we only make around $1300 a month between us. Do we make too much to be approved?

There are many variables and that is the reason you need to visit your local family services center. It would probably be better to seek answers before the child is born so that if you are eligible you will have time to apply and get approved.

There may be other benefits available also.

I suggest that you get in touch with your Medicaid office in your local area or call the national Medicaid office and ask them for advice on receiving Medicaid

They do have online questionnaires where you can determine if you could be a candidate for Medicaid and food stamps. Take the questionnaire first and then make an appointment with your local agency.
