The best thing I ever used was a generic/maalox. Wash face let dry then apply the maalox all over let it dry. It dries hard rinse off the sucks the oils up.
I tried numerous products and spent lots of money and my mom had the cheapest easiest solution. She was told by a doctor that this works and it does without hurting or burning your skin.
Please go see a doctor about these breakouts. There are many remedies that your doctor can give you that actually work, unlike home remedies that don't. If you have tried the products available from your drug store, and used them faithfully as they are intended to be used, and this has not helped, it is time to see a doctor and get prescription medication.
Do you use a phone a lot? Are the breakouts on your face where the phone usually touches? If so, it may be your phone which is causing them, especially if you don't clean your phone regularly. Try cleaning the phone daily with an alcohol wipe and see if it helps. I had a similar problem when I had a job as a receptionist answering the phone. It cleared up after I started cleaning the phone daily with alcohol after I noticed that the breakouts were mainly where the phone touched my face. Hope this helps.
