Scalloped Potatoes


  • 6 cups raw potatoes
  • 4 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 2 1/2 cups cream
  • 2 Tbsp. butter



Place a layer of sliced potatoes in buttered baking dish. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and flour. Dot with butter. Repeat until all ingredients are used. Pour hot cream over potatoes and bake at 350 degrees F for 1-1 1/4 hours. Serves 6.

Scalloped Potatoes

I boil sliced potatoes until almost done. Drain pour the potatoes in a oven safe dish. I then cut up a whole stick of butter and dot over the potatoes. Then combine 1 can cream of chicken soup with 1 can of carnation evaporated milk.Pour this over potatoes. Lastly I spoon a small jar of cheez whiz over the top. Move potatoes around so that all of the good stuff seeps to the bottom. I bake at 400 degrees for 35 minutes. So good! (03/30/2010)
