Scotcheroos - Rice Krispies Treats

This is a great kid favorite! They love to eat them and help making them.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch chips

Directions:

Cook sugar and corn syrup in saucepan until mixture boils. Remove from heat.

Stir in peanut butter and mix in Rice Krispies. Press in 9x13 pan.

Over hot water, not boiling, melt the chocolate chips and butterscotch chips. Stir to blend. Spread over Krispies.

Chill 5 minutes until chocolate hardens and is firm. Cut into bars.

Servings: 9-12

Cooking Time: 0 Minutes
