Removing Carpet From Hardwood Floors

We remove carpet from hardwood floors but the backing is really stuck on there, plus there is double face tape on it. Any ideas how to remove this.

You could euclyptus oil - that usually removes sticky stuff

We used some stuff called Krud Kutter I think was the name of it - we got it at Wal Mart and it worked very well.
