When preparing for a recent weekend trip and trying to transfer all of my beauty product liquids into 3 oz. or smaller containers, I discovered a trick that will help any "true" liquid product such as facial toner, nail polish remover, etc last a lot longer!

If you transfer the liquid into a small spray bottle with a fine mist, a few sprays directly onto a cotton pad will suffice for normal use, thus using FAR less than the usual technique of holding the pad to the mouth of the bottle, tipping it up, and letting the liquid soak the pad.

Just make sure if you are re-using a bottle (I used an empty travel-size body mist bottle for toner) that you label it - you don't want to inadvertently mist yourself with nail polish remover!
