Catch dust when drilling into wall or tile, by taking a short piece of wide painter's tape and fold in half lengthwise, sticky part out. Place this L-shaped piece a few inches under where the work is to be done.

The sticky ledge catches the dust as you drill. When done, remove carefully and fold sticky parts together trapping the dust to toss. Use another piece to pick up scatters like for lint. Just press on to remove the matter.
