To keep the hardware from clothes (over-all buckles) from ruining the finish on your dryer, wrap with a sock or washcloth and secure with a rubber band, (from broccoli bunches) and them put item in the dryer to dry. Also button all metal buttons.

Ponytail holders work well...I've always used those (usually the ones with metal) when I wash my daughters' stuffed animals. I just put it in a pillow case and loosely close it with a ponytail holder to wash and fluff dry.

Great Tip!! Never would've thought of this one. But I think one of those small elastic ponytail holders, w/o metal holding it together, might work better than a rubber band. Not sure if a rubberband would melt??
