- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/4 cup lukewarm water
Soften yeast in lukewarm water in large bowl
Add:
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup tomato sauce
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. melted shortening
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. chili powder
Blend. Gradually add 2 to 2 1/4 cups flour, blending after each addition. Knead on lightly floured board until smooth and satiny. Place in greased bowl. Let rice until double in size. Pat dough on greased baking sheet. Brush with 2 tablespoons melted butter. Spread with hamburger topping. Sprinkle with shredded American cheese. Bake at 425 degrees F for 15-18 minutes. Serve hot!
