How can I get paperback books unstuck?

try gently steaming them over a tea kettle and separating the pages slowly. Either that or try running a sharp knife slowly from the inside edge, slowly out toward the outside of the book

I have never tried this but have read about it.Boil a pot of water.When steam is rising place book over rising steam.The wet hot moisture is suposed to unstick stuck paper.Becareful not to burn your hands.Maybe wear gloves.
