Use Napkins as a Window Treatment

Napkins As Window Treatment

Napkins As Window Treatment

While I was washing my kitchen curtain, I decided to experiment. I layered three cloth napkins, that match my kitchen wallpaper, on my curtain rod for a new look. An inexpensive alternative for a curtain.

While on vacation in South Dakota, we ate at a restaurant that had very cute valances made of pairs of denim shorts tied with red ribbon, if I remember right. I know after that, that I thought about decorating my baby's window with baby clothes hung on a clothesline with clothespins.

Yes,,,this is great. I have done these years ago. We have one arrangement of pretty napkins, co-ordinated with cloth placemats and or tablecloth which ever I have on the table at the time, in the kitchen. I have them hanging off a very pretty rod. We also have them on a smaller window in what we call our New York room. The ones on the smaller window I just happened to find while at Kohl's in their clearance area. You can spend more to get nice rods as your save with the " curtains". I originally got the idea from the design shows you see on TV, awhile back.

What an excellent idea. I am very impressed with this idea not only while I wash my curtains but I'm seriously thinking of getting some cheap napkins and use them permantely. Certainly will not be as expensive as changing curtains as you change paint.
