How does one become a "professional crafter"?

Keep in mind that the only diff' between an amature and a professional is that a professional is paid. If you make and sell your items, you are a professional crafts person. If you want to go one more, see if you are good at making and selling, then get a small business license and see where that takes you. Good luck, and I hope that helped.
