consider Etsy.com

Etsy - Buy and Sell All Things Handmade

Marketplace for handmade products. Buy and sell crafts, housewares, clothing, accessories, art, needlecraft, and other work by independent artists.
www.etsy.com

Good luck.

Keep in mind that the only diff' between an amature and a professional is that a professional is paid. If you make and sell your items, you are a professional crafts person. If you want to go one more, see if you are good at making and selling, then get a small business license and see where that takes you. Good luck, and I hope that helped.
