Here is a cute way to jazz up those flip flops you wear all summer. You need 1 pair a shoes, something to decorate with (sequins, beads flowers, etc.), flip flop glue from Hobby Lobby.

I have decorated old and new shoes. If using old shoes be sure they are clean. Decide where you want the decorations to go. I put it on the straps, but it could just as easy go around the soles. Or just a flower on the toe.

Archived on 06/08/2009

What glue do I use to glue crystal rhinestones to Hawaiian flip flops?

RE: Gluing Rhinestones to Flip Flops

You should use house hold GOOP, it is made for wet repairs like sneakers. Their are five GOOPs now, look at the label for the glue for your project, chart on back of packages. Jill (01/26/2007)

You can buy a tube of Shoe Goo which is used to repair tennis shoes. (01/26/2007)

I do use shoe glue, but it is hard to work with. There has to be a glue that is easy to use, thanks (01/27/2007)

I've been making swarovski crystals flip flops for a year now and I love a glue I found at Michael's. Flip Flop glue! It comes in a pink tube and I love it! And it dries clear. (09/14/2007)
