Interior Trim Paint Color Advice

My wall is burgundy and looks dark, what color trim can I use to brighten it up?

White trim would look nice and offset the burgundy.

I'd suggest glossy white if it goes with your decor!

Also, if your burgundy is too dark, you can go back over it with a tinted glaze of a lighter color using a decorative technique:

Taupe would give a subtle, sophisticated look.

Hot yellow would certainly brighten the enviroment, but about any light color should. If this is just one room, you could try about anything. Pick a color related to other colors in the room(s), High gloss will also add brightness, or a clear gloss paint over the burgundy might help. (Yes, there is clear paint.)
