My boyfriend is turning 18 on Nov 21. and I'm not really sure what to get him.. I don't want it to be lame since its his 18th. He's into video games, but basically has all there is. War movies, blah but I don't want to get him something like that. If you can think of something really creative and fun that would be great! Or a romantic date, I'm not too good at those.

Not sure where your located but if your near the waterline most places offer tours be it riverboat rides, ocean rides in boat tours, or even some restaurant that over looks the ocean or creek. The sunset hours at those places are very romantic and some offer dining on them. if this is a surprise though i would suggest you tell him to available such and such date so he does not make other plans. Even rent him a nice suit to wear and you dress up as well. And have someone to take a picture of you both while your on this boat ride, that alone will be another gift you can give him after framed.

Another thought is go to the places that take special photos like western theme and such, where you pick your own outfits from that time era. Those places are most often found in tourist towns.
or a romantic hot air balloon ride at sunset or sunrise.

How about a karaoke place that has dining too and you sing him a romantic song.

I don't know where you live, but a change of scenery is always nice. If you live in the city, how about a day in the country. If you live in the country, how about a day in the city. The country at this time of year is beautiful. You could find a nice cozy place to eat, maybe a walk through a park..hey rides are big at this time of year. The city, depending on which one may have a museum, a play, a romantic restaurant. It doesn't have to cost a lot. It's the thought that counts. Maybe you can create a card and a frame with a great picture of the two of you in it. Sign it at the bottom, like an autograph with hugs and kisses.

How about a food party where you travel around the world via the different cuisines? Pizza for Italy, BBQ steak for the USA, dessert from France...sparkling apple cider from Germany...stir-fried veggies for Asia...
