Holding a 2-Piece Sofa Together?

I have a chaise and sofa that are not connected. They keep slipping apart. How can I keep them from separating without permanently attaching them together?

How about a few strips of heavy duty velcro?

What about a vice grip tool (clamp type that tightens closed when screwed tighter)placed on the under side of them between the two sections. When tightened will vice them together unseen on the bottom side. I have seen these in plastic at lowes that come in pairs.

Try putting something under the legs/feet to keep them from moving. You will have to consider what your flooring is and get something that will not move on it.

My husband and I used to have a sectional sofa that wouldn't stay together, so he simply wired the legs together. It worked beautifully.

After surgery, I slept on a chair with a hassock that had a habit of slipping away. I wrapped small bungee cords around the legs, keeping them tightly together.

Put the hooks on the inside so that they don't hurt your foot getting up and down.

Just "nylon tie" "zip strip" (you know those white plastic ties that once you push one end through they are closed ;)... ) them together. then when you need to undo them... just a snip with wire cutters will do it! ;)
