Thanks! I am going to try using the ice packs that come with my medication first. This is my plan. Open the ice pack and fill a snack sized baggie with the cooling material and follow the instructions to add to a bandanna. Any ideas or suggestions?

Does anyone have and be willing to share the pattern and directions for making the cooling neckerchiefs that contain the material that absorbs 100 times its volume? Thank you.

Google, "cool ties".
You will find instructions to make them and where to get the polymer that goes inside. (07/11/2006)
