Sausage and Waffles
- hot waffles
- 1 lb. link sausage
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- pinch salt
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 2 cups apple juice
Prepare your favorite waffle recipes. Fry sausage until done. Drain and save 3/4 cup of drippings. Blend in flour, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. Gradually add apple juice. Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened. Top each waffle with gravy and sausages.
