Melt margarine in large saucepan. Stir in brown sugar, corn syrup and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil without stirring for 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in baking soda and vanilla. Gradually pour over popped corn and peanuts.
How much peanuts do you add to this, and are they plain or salted?
Editor's Note: Good point Ron. I thought we had fixed this one. Add 1 cup roasted peanuts (either plain or salted but you may want to add less salt to the recipe if they are salted)
