Ingredients
- 1 deluxe yellow cake mix
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup margarine, melted
- 1/2 cup nuts
- 1 can pumpkin pie filling (30 oz.)
- 2 beaten eggs
- 2/3 cup milk, light cream or evaporated milk
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp. ginger
- 1/2 cup nuts
- 1/4 cup or less melted margarine
Directions
Reserve 1 cup of dry cake mix, combine rest with 1 egg, 1/2 cup margarine and nuts. Pat gently into a greased and floured 9x13 inch pan or jelly roll pan. Mix pie filling, 2 eggs and milk together. Pour over cake mixture. To the cup of cake mix, add spices, nuts and melted margarine. Sprinkle over filling. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour. Good served with Cool Whip or ice cream.
