Use Onion Salt With Mashed Potatoes

Next time you make mashed potatoes, use onion salt in place of plain salt. Really makes a difference (a very tasty one)

Great idea! I personally use a lot of celery salt (no it doesn't taste like celery!) and there's always garlic salt. Or how bout a mix of two or all three?!?

I add some chicken bullion to the water the potatoes are boiling in. It gives the potato a nice flavor. When I make potatoes that way, my kids don't ask for butter.

I cook a chopped onion along with the potatoes. I don't know if increases the nutritional value, but it sure makes the potatoes taste good.

And, no, once the potatoes are mashed (especially if cooded with skins on), you can not see the onions.
