Beside what the staff recommended, contact your neighbors, co-workers, relatives, your doctors office, etc. and let them know you would like them to save large coffee cans for you.

Make up a card with your name and phone number and what you would like them to save for you and leave it at the particular places you contact. Ask if there is a certain day that would be best for you to check back with them. Be sure to be prompt in picking up cans ... they are doing you a favor!

Ask around at churches and community centers in your area. Any place that large groups of people meet and ask them to save them for you.

Restaurants may be another source. They may not use canned coffee but they might have large food cans that they either throw away or recycle. These would not have the plastic lids but might work.

What are you going to use them for? We might be able to come up with a substitute.

If anyone out there has a lot of these or ideas how to get some, let us know and we will put you in contact with dayarl51.
