I've had goodl luck with CafeMom. There are tons of groups ranging from daily jokes to special needs children, special interests, etc.

Please, please, please go to http://www.fertilethoughts.com/forums/index.php That link will take you to the list of bulletin boards. Click on Parenting and then you can see boards for every possible parenting situation you might be in. Just register (free), introduce yourself and ask your question. The gals there are really nice and very helpful. It's mostly women there, but men are welcome too.
