Safety Tip: Keep Glass Paper Weights Out of the Sun

Do not put paper weights or snow globes where the sun can reflect off of them. When sun reflects off the paperweight, they become very hot (like a magnifying glass), and they can become hot enough to start a fire.

I learned this from first hand experience - wish I would have known this sooner.

Ditto with laying eyeglasses down in the sun! Thanks for letting us know it can happen with paperweights or snow globes, too!
