With the weather changing and more rain on the horizon, you might consider wrapping items in a plastic bag before placing them in a box for mailing. Many times packages are left outside when delivered. The plastic bag will protect the contents of the box until the recipient arrives home.

I slide a big plastic bag inside the box I'm mailing an then put the packages inside ALSO put a piece of paper inside with the package with TO / ADDRESS
just incase the label if off the outside of the box. this way the postoffice knows where the package goes.
