I pretreated a pair of new white khaki pants with ERA (liquid) laundry detergent and was preparing to wash them right away but my sister-in-law went in to labor and I forgot all about them.

Needless to say they sat for 2 days and after attempting to wash them the detergent left light marks all over them. Will repeated washes help? I washed with cold water per the label, but will warm water dissolve all the detergent? Any recommendations are appreciated.

Thanks!
Erin

Soak the item in White Vinegar for 15 to 20 minutes then wash as usual. Hope this helps!

I had the same problem with laundry detergent stains on my khaki pants. How do you get out the spots? I can't return the pants.

I have had the same problem with All Free & Clear, but I didn't even leave them set in the detergent, just poured it on as the wash started. If you get an answer on this one, let me know! crochet4christ AT ymail.com

You say they are "white khaki". If they are white, try a product called "Iron out" located on your store's cleaning aisle. Good luck!! bbb
