This tip is for anyone who receives free formula checks. If your child is on one specific brand of formula, sign up for the Nestle, Similac and Enfamil free check offers. When the checks arrive, use them all.

Say your child is only on Similac, take the cans of the other formula back to the store without a receipt and just say your child did not like the brand and you want a store credit for get the correct brand you use. Since the store was already paid for the original checks, you're not cheating anyone. Formula is returnable as long as it not opened.

For all the people looking to swap checks, this is what you do to avoid the hassle of needing to swap the checks. Use them get the formula and return the different brand to the store from which you bought them. Don't go to the same store twice. Babies R Us or Target are the best choices. Remember, the company also guarantees your satisfaction.

Hope this sounded ok, I have a 2 week old and am still sleep deprived.

Not all can breast feed! I had emergency surgery after birth and my milk supply was damaged! Do not assume ALL can breast feed because I would have loved to and tried very hard! Just because you were so fortunate does not mean everyone is!

Just breastfeed your baby; all women that give birth CAN breastfeed their infant. Your milk is superior to anything else you will every feed your infant/child.

This is totally dishonest! You might as well go in and steal a can of formula! If you are on such a tight budget that you need to do this why not sign up for WIC! This is the reason formula among other things are so high now!

I tried returning a can of formula once WITH a receipt and they wouldn't let me. They said that it was because of the WIC checks they couldn't do it. This was at a store that takes back just about anything too.

Forget the coupons and checks. I use the generic soy formula put out by Sam's or Target. My pediatrician said they were just as good as the name brand expensive formulas. Member's Mark Soy is 3lb can for under $20, whereas Similac is $27 to $32 dollars. Your system is time consuming, waste of gas, and not fair to fellow consumers.

I have a four month old son and I am finally getting some sleep, key word is "some".

Too bad you didn't breast feed. It's much more relaxing.

I'm sorry but I agree that this is totally dishonest. While you may not be "stealing" from the store, you are stealing from the individual manufacturers by using their coupons to obtain a competitor's product. You are also being dishonest by lying to the store, being covert in going from store to store so you won't be discovered and manipulating the system to your advantage. I understand trying to save money on baby formula, but I sure could not do this kind of thing with a good conscience at all. You should stick with the coupon exchange. At least that is honest. Please reconsider!

Where I am at you cannot return formula at all. It is against health regulations.

I'm sorry that really sounds dishonest and I would never recommend it.

Be sure you're not lying when you return the formula and say your child didn't like it. Always be honest.
