I use Cascade, but what works best for you will depend on the type of water you have. Hard water may require something different, or need a cup or so of vinegar in the final rinse. Try different brands till you find one that works well.

Make your own, it isn't hard, and you will save a bundle of money! Just do a google search for homemade dishwasher detergent and you won't believe how easy it us.

I love Roper appliances, I had several in my American home. I don't recall there being any real recommended brands when mine was installed, I used Cascade and Jet-Dri products and was always happy with the results.
