Suede Damaged From Cleaning

I was trying to remove a butter stain from my suede purse. I used soap and water and now it has lost the suede texture and look. Can I do something to restore it or at least make it look better. Thanks.

Try using a soft brush, like a baby brush or soft toothbrush, on the area to restore the "knap" to the suede.
