Any yeast dough will freeze well. Keep it as air tight as possible to prevent freezer burn. A pre maid pizza is a little harder. I have done it with freezing the pre made pizza and a handi-vac with large bags.
As for making whole wheat pizza dough I would recommend 1/3 -1/2 be whole wheat flour. If you like a little crunch in the crust add 2 tablespoons of corn meal to the dough.
My favorite recipe from a dear High School Friend
1 3/4 c flour
pinch salt
1 tablespoon oil
2 teaspoons fast rising yeast
3/4 cups luke warm water
Mix, let rise 2 hours or til double, roll out add toppings, bake an serve or roll out cover and freeze. let me know what you think gega24121617 AT aol.com
Dear Jess:
I would LOVE to make a pizza crust from whole wheat flour, but I need to know if you use the whole 3 cups of whole wheat flour or mix it up with regular all-purpose white flour???
Thanks again,

Check out the "Freezer Pizza Dough" recipe at Martha Stewart's site. It is really easy and tastes great!

I would really recommend this recipe from Tyler Florence (from the Food Network). http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/rec ... ecipe/0,1977,FOOD_9936_24119,00.html
I make this pizza dough once a week and refrigerate it, but i'm sure you could easily freeze it too. This dough recipe makes three 12" thin crust pizzas. Although the crust may not be as thin if you use regular flour (I use whole wheat flour). It's a delicious recipe though. Happy pizza making!
