Does anyone know what the process is for making Peppermint oil? I have a whole lot of it growing wild. Thanks.

Depending on what your use is for. Food grade meaning for cooking you can't quite do at home. Capture the essense for use later, gather up the mint, bag it and freeze it. The amount of work needed to extract the oil is not worth it. You can mix it with your own herbs, potpouri, etc to retain it. You might want to check with an herbologist. We have a local gal who is. MY email will be jnokleby @ info-link. net if you want to write her. She has a fantastic new book out.
