Looking for Hot Tub Chemical Alternatives |
I have been told there is a way to use vinegar, soda and I don't know what else in place of chemicals in my hot tub. I can't use chlorine base products (rash). We can't seem to get the peroxide products to work right, we have a white grainey residue in tub now. Had water tested, they said it was "low" on calcium? So I used calcium plus, got worse. Help!!

RE: Looking for Hot Tub Chemical Alternatives
I use a product called Carefree Spa. It isn't cheap but it is cheaper than all the testing and then various chemicals to adjust balance. It is easy to use, doesn't have harsh chlorine odor or feel, and is gentle on skin. I don't have to shower after I get out of the spa. They are in Oceanside, CA and will ship it to you. They have a website, too.. Everyone I have recommended it to also loves it.
