If you're looking to give your plants some Magnesium, why not just use Epsom salt (Magnesium sulfate)? I know when I use Epsom salt around my plants, they green up and grow like crazy! Apply the above just before they bloom.

Apply one table spoon of epsom salts around each tomato plant or in the hole as you plant it, good luck.
