Do you have other species of fish other than guppies in your tank? I ask that because certain other species will attack and feed on innocent guppies :-( Even if you don't have other species, sorry to say, the other fish are feeding on the ones that died and that's why they appear to be disintegrated :-(

The problem could be many things including bad water circulation, over or under feeding, chlorine imbalance, ich, etc. so the best thing would be to go to a couple of local fish stores, tell them all about your set up and see what they have to say. Hope this helps.

Sounds like you are getting guppies from the pet stores that are sick to begin with...most fish go from breeder, to shipper, to store, and then to your tank, all within one week and they are very stressed and in a weaken condition. Only the very hardest survive. Good luck.
