Go to Lowes or Home Depot and look for discount Dishwashers--usually closed out model or returned for some reason and still has a warrantee--I bought a $450 GE Profile for $100 dollars with warrantee--some later ordered it and never picked it up!
If you can find a BOSCH, buy it--less water, less electricity and will keep on ticking!

If you want to buy new, go to Sears and buy a Kenmore. They stand behind their product, and they are generally good quality products, and are usually around $300.

Jane, I live in G'ville too (Go Gators) and have found some really good deals at Martin Appliances off Tower Rd. next to the old Winn Dixie. They are good honest people who have been in town for ages and have not only refurbished washers, but new ones as well.
