Mix 1 stick of butter, cake mix and 1 egg together and press into a 9x13 inch pan. Mix 2 eggs, cream cheese, 1 stick butter, sugar and half of the pecans together and pour over the crust. Sprinkle the remaining pecans on top. Bake at 325 degrees F for 55 minutes. Cool, loosen edges, cut and refrigerate.

On my standard size box of confectioners sugar (powdered sugar) it states that it contains three and three-fourths cups (3-3/4),or 453g (1 lb). Hope this helps you, mamasita.

The recipe sounds great and I want to try it. From Canada - our icing sugar comes in plastic bags here and we are metric. How much icing sugar is in a box? Thanks
