Want a cheap way to make bubbles for the kids? Just add a little shampoo to some water and let them go.

When I was little, Mom would mix liquid dish soap with some water in a low dish and let us have one of her empty wooden thread spools to dip one end in and then blow into the other. We thought it was so much fun!

Check the thrift stores for a wooden spool of thread to have the spool!

Even better if you buy the shampoo at the dollar store! I use dollar-store shampoo for things, even cleaning bathroom appliances. After all, it is gentle but yet will remove the oily substance from our hair.
