Does anyone have a suggestion on how to clean artificial hair pieces?

The ones I have are from QVC or HSN - from Tony Brattin. I love them, they really are great.

I tried to used diluted shampoo but when they dried they were tangled and dull.

I tried conditioner, but no luck.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!!

Fill this sink with warm water and normal amount of shampoo that you would use for your hair, Soak hair piece for about 10 minutes then gently swish around in water. You will see dirt release. Empty and refill sink with just water to rinse. swish until repeat until water is clear. Let air dry. Voila!

I did hair for 15 years and currently wear wigs always. (Just so much easier!) Use cold water and Woolite to clean wigs and hairpieces, no conditioner ever. There are also detangling sprays you can find at wig stores if needed. Lather the inside and let the suds run through the hair...DO NOT SCRUB like regular hair. Use your fingers to pull the soap through if the hair is long.

My mother was told to use baby shampoo on her wig.
