Paint them with flowers--put in artifical flowers--take them and place them at grave sites in a cemetery. 2. Cut the bottom off--keep them--glue stand up items--like toy trees//Barbie Dolls// Rockets// and other things--then glue bottoms back on bottles-- you got a display piece. 3. Paint them different colors--put 25¢ 10¢ 5¢ 1¢ and have a coin toss game--kids and adults. 4. Fill some with water--for each family member--put name on it --put in frig--their responsibilty to take of their own. 5. Seal & use as gifts. You can also make shelves to spec size in the recess of your kitchen window. Fill bottles with water and food dye in different colord, place bottles on shelves, and enjoy the effect of colored sunlight that filters through. You don't mention the size but I'm assuming they are either quart or half gallon sized containers. Dry goods like beans and lentils could be stored in them. You can find different cork sizes at hardware and craft stores. You might be able to seal them that way. Another way is plastic wrap and a rubber band. You can see what's on hand. I also store lace and trimmings in them. The possibilities are endless - and they are attractive with these items stored in them too.
