I have 20 milk jugs that were used for home milk delivery. What are some good uses for them? Thanks, Sandy.

ever think of filling them with oil for favored oils or making bath oils and maybe even bath soaps for adults as gifts. they would be beautiful for flavored vinegars too.

1. Paint them with flowers--put in artifical flowers--take them and place them at grave sites in a cemetery.

2. Cut the bottom off--keep them--glue stand up items--like toy trees//Barbie Dolls// Rockets// and other things--then glue bottoms back on bottles-- you got a display piece.

3. Paint them different colors--put 25¢ 10¢ 5¢ 1¢ and have a coin toss game--kids and adults.

4. Fill some with water--for each family member--put name on it --put in frig--their responsibilty to take of their own.

5. Line them up-- X= Bottle
XXXX
XX
X
Bind them with ribbon and put in flowers--take to sick person or as a gift or a bunch of flowers for the church

Decopauge them with theme or family pics. Seal & use as gifts.

You can also make shelves to spec size in the recess of your kitchen window. Fill bottles with water and food dye in different colord, place bottles on shelves, and enjoy the effect of colored sunlight that filters through.

Unless you have a lot of things to store, it might be best to sell or give away some of them. You don't mention the size but I'm assuming they are either quart or half gallon sized containers. Dry goods like beans and lentils could be stored in them. You can find different cork sizes at hardware and craft stores. You might be able to seal them that way. Another way is plastic wrap and a rubber band. They are also good juice containers.

I make some jewelry and I've found that any clear bottles are great for storing large beads. You can see what's on hand.

I also store lace and trimmings in them. The possibilities are endless - and they are attractive with these items stored in them too.

You could use them as a flower vase.
