Here is a great tip to freshen your laundry. When the rinse cycle start add one cup of white distilled vinegar to the rinse water and when your laundry is finished, your clothes will be springtime fresh. This is a good way to freshen clothes that have been packed away all winter long.

I use vinegar as a fabric softener in the rinse cycle
It it great for people with allgeries to dyes and perfumes and it does refresh your clothes as well as cutting out the soap in the rinse.
