Decorated Dress Forms

Here is a photo of an old dress form I decorated. I used an old dress found at a garage sale. The following two photos are more of my dress forms.

Love the decorated dress forms but agree they are pricey. If you are creative, you could also use an old vacuum for the height, attach a hangar at the top for the dress shoulders and even a styrofoam "head" on which you could draw a face and then put the hat on the top or, as in the picture, just lay the hat against. No, haven't done it as I already have a Wyatt Earp statue from a wax museum in front of my bar and an Indian maiden manequin barmaid. 'Nuf!! Have fun!!

Very clever! And if a person has a dress form that is rarely used, takes up space, but is too expensive to get rid of (and I know what they cost) then this is the perfect solution!

Mary. I think these are so inventive. Never in my mind would I have thought of this. I really like the first dress with the hat boxes.
Great work!
