It can be used for Passover and kids love it.

Ingredients:

  • 2 matzos
  • 1 cup Ragu Old World Style Pasta Sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (about 4 oz.)

Directions:

Preheat oven to 500 degrees F. Line baking sheet with aluminum foil.

Place matzos on prepared baking sheet. Evenly spoon pasta sauce onto matzos, then top with cheese.

Bake 8 minutes or until cheese is melted. Serve immediately.

For a quick single Matzo Pizza, place 1 prepared matzo pizza on microwave-safe plate and microwave at HIGH 1 minute or until cheese is melted.

Servings: 2
Time:10 Minutes Preparation Time
8 Minutes Cooking Time

We make our own sauce, sometimes adding sliced zucchini. For a different twist, use flour tortillas. We love Peruvian Pizza (Machu Pichu, Matza Pizza)!

If one uses Ragu sauce, it isn't kosher for Passover, nor is it kosher at all. No Ragu products are certified kosher. If you enjoy matzah pizza at Passover, try http://www.kosher.com/store/kosher- ... ssover-tomato-products/tomato-sauces for a good selection of sauces. These are all certified kosher for Passover and year-round use.
