When I lived in Texas I went to a marvelous place near Brenham called The Antique Rose Emporium. They have the old roses that grew wild, so they are very hardy and smell wonderful. And they have them in settings with herbs. It is Heaven to wander through that place.

That is a beautiful rose. I live in Texas, but haven't planted many roses. Two that I planted several years ago didn't do squat. I planted a new one this spring, so we'll see how it does. Do you happen to know the name of the rose?
