Marking Good Magazine Articles
My hubby and I like to read magazine articles about saving money, investing, etc. Hubby does not have the time, like I do, to read the magazines that contain articles such as these. As I read information that I know that he would like to read I flag it and pass along the entire publication on to him. He appreciates my effort!

Bookmarks also work for this and are more re-usable than post-it notes.
If you rip out articles to file them, that works, too.
