Puppy is Having Stomach Spasms
We've had a dog with Parvo for 8 days now and we have done all the home remedies told to us by our vet and other sources of advice. She is eating on her own, the diarrhea is gone and she has not vomited at all. But now she is having these weird stomach spasms, almost like a cough or hiccups. What is going on and what can I do to relieve these symptoms?

When my puppy had Parvo, 2 days she was on an IV cause she couldn't keep anything down, when home we were told by the Vet, to boil rice and ground beef for the first several days, then puppy food was added into the rice batch. This was easier for her to digest and still gave the nutrition that was needed. Hope your pup is ok now!

She's gagging. Could be a parasite in her throat. Ask your vet for help to give her a complete parasite control program.

Look up parvaid. It's a life saver. Worth it to get some. I gave this to one of my puppies when they had been exposed to parvo, and have used it to help sooth the puppies stomach.
