Lazy Cook's Faux Blond Betty

Simple, quick, delicious. and tastes like a blond Betty, even though it isn't one. Probably lower in calories, too. The exact ingredients I use are not required to make it.

Ingredients:

  • 1 toasted slice Franz maple brown sugar bread
  • 1 scoop vanilla ice cream (maple, caramel or praline would work fine, too)
  • swirl of Aunt Jemima's maple cinnamon syrup.
  • 1 butter pat (optional)

Directions:

Toast the bread and place on a plate or in a wide bowl. Add butter if you need or want the extra fat. Put a scoop of ice cream on top and swirl some syrup over it. Enjoy.

Goes well with a cup of cinnamon based tea or hot cider. Makes ice cream good even in winter!

Servings: 1 each
Time:2-3 Minutes Preparation Time
2-3 Minutes Cooking Time
