Gorilla Glue On Mahogany Furniture |
I have high quality mahogany furniture that accidentally got super glue (Gorilla Glue) smeared on it as I was trying to glue a piece that came off in transportation. Any suggestions on how I can clean those stains (glue marks)? Can I use Oops or Goo-Gone on it?

Nadine is correct. Since the glue has cured (hardened) that's the only way you can remove it. In the future, if you need to use glue on good wood furniture, use Elmers Wood glue or carpenter's glue with clamps, if necessary, but never Crazy Glue or Monster Glue. Any mistakes made with carpenter's glue can be easily removed. I learned this from my Dad who was a cabinet maker. Good luck.

Hello this is Nadine from The Gorilla Glue Company. I just happened upon your question and thought that I would respond. The recommended way to get cured Gorilla Glue from a work piece is with a chisel, scraper or sandpaper. Hope this helps-- if you need more information feel free to visit the web site at www.gorillatough.com.
