Bartering should be on all of our minds right now, with the economy the way it is. Start a "Babysitting Bartering Group". You can keep a schedule and barter hours like money. That way you get "free" babysitting with trustworthy and dependable babysitters.

Oh, my Gosh...what a flashback. We did this back in the late 1960's. One person kept the log of hours, debiting and crediting when one used the service and when one babysat. It really worked out great. It wasn't just for night's out, but for grocery shopping, etc. Go for it. It works great.
