Buy Seniors Appliances With an Automatic Shut Off

When buying an appliance such as a coffee maker for a senior citizen, make sure it has an automatic shut off in case they forget to turn it off.

Deeli, you took the words right out of my mouth, so to speak. I'm the original "absent-minded professor." Lord only knows how many things I've forgotten and left on over just the last year, and I'm 47!

Good idea but I must mention that seniors are not the only ones who often forget to turn off appliances ;-)
